Long Term Needs:
The greatest long term help for Gabriel House would be finances, hard cold cash. It is the most flexible and useable of all the blessings that our supporters give us.
There are monthly fees that are required by the Mexican Government, if we are to stay legal and operable in Mexico.
God admonishes us to obey the laws of the land , so there is no consideration of cutting corners in this area.
The next all important consideration is the children and their many needs. Our pharmacy bill alone is over $1,000.00 US dollars per month. Our electric bill is over $1,000.00 US dollars per month. We spend $500.00 more than the donations we receive monthly to keep our kids nutrition needs at a quality level by purchasing chicken, fish, cheese, eggs and hamburger.
Payroll to our 40 employees who attend the children 24 hours per day is $15,000.00 US dollars per month. It is not legal to pay an employee in food or materials.
We use over 100 diapers per day. If those are not donated, we have to purchase them at an average of $1.00 US dollar per diaper.
Praying in the $20,000.00 US dollars we need every single month to meet our minimum needs is not for the faint hearted. It is a constant daily privilege to prayerfully intercede for the financial needs of the children of Gabriel House, that Ted and Renie exercise daily at 8:30 Am.
Ted and Renie regularly travel to visit churches, send emails to over 500 people, and make phone calls with their message, to remind the church at large that Gabriel House is still in existence and in need of support.
Every physical and spiritual effort is being utilized to bring in the resources needed for Gabriel House. Every effort to be excellent stewards of the financial resources donated is being exercised to conserve and bring forth the best results for the children of Gabriel House.
He who has pity upon the poor lends to Jehovah, and He will reward his dealing to him. (Pro 19:17)
